Duties of the Head of the Department:

Implementation of laws, decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the Upper House and the Cabinet of Ministers in the field of education and training, normative legal acts, instructions of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education;
Management and coordination of financial and economic activities of the branch;
Manage and coordinate the work of the planning and finance department, accounting, economics, as well as other departments assigned by the rector’s order;
Organization, management and coordination of construction, renovation and landscaping works;
To expand the attraction of extra-budgetary funds through the establishment of additional paid services (publishing, household services, paid training courses, rent, sponsorship, dividends, etc.) within the existing material and technical base of the branch; thereby developing proposals for financial incentives for faculty and staff;
Formation of extra-budgetary funds and other special extra-budgetary funds from tuition fees for students on a contract basis;
Development of estimates of revenues and expenditures of the state budget, funds received from tuition fees and entrepreneurship, and registration with the Ministry of Finance;
Supervise the execution of branch cost estimates, financial and economic activities, accounting for foreign exchange transactions;
Development and implementation of measures to prepare the training laboratory buildings of the branch, student housing, as well as other ancillary buildings and structures for the autumn-winter season and the new academic year;
To study the state of the material and technical base of the institute in the context of economic liberalization, to develop and monitor the implementation of measures for its development;
Organization of investment activities in the branch, reconstruction and overhaul of existing buildings and structures, review of design estimates, conclusion of contracts, acceptance of work performed and quality control;
Ensuring proper compliance with staffing, budgeting, and accounting discipline, and monitoring of accounting and reporting;
Develop and enforce measures for the rational and economical use of budget and extra-budgetary funds, as well as utilities;
Development and implementation of measures to improve the remuneration of faculty and staff of the branch, the development of accounting and reporting,
Ensuring timely payment of salaries and student scholarships to faculty and staff of the branch;
Control over the payment of tuition fees from students studying on a paid contract;

Organization, management and coordination of construction and repair works;
Review of design and estimate documentation for reconstruction and overhaul of existing buildings and structures, conclusion of contracts, acceptance of work performed and quality control;
Develop and enforce emergency and safety plans for students and staff.
Ensuring the stability of the branch buildings, equipping them with firefighting equipment, maintaining their sanitary and hygienic conditions at the required level;
Plan and ensure the operation of student canteens, cafeterias, sports and recreation complexes, medical centers, to ensure the needs of student housing;
Organization of cultural and entertainment events in the branch;
Organize training in special classrooms equipped with modern computer technology;
In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 12, 1999 No. 12 “On measures to strengthen the executive discipline” to comply with the goals and objectives set by the rules of the institute, the Charter of the Institute, internal regulations, decisions of the Council, orders of the rector and regulations of the education system, as well as its official duties
