At the moment, an extended Board meeting of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation is taking place in Nukus. Officials of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, heads of regional departments, rectors and directors of republican higher education institutions are taking part in it.
The participation of universities and technical institutes is gaining importance in the process of bringing socio-economic development to a new level in our country, implementing reforms related to the economy and industry. From this point of view, the PF “On further improvement of the system of training qualified personnel in vocational education and measures to introduce international education programs” signed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on October 16, 2024 at the Board meeting. In Decree No. 158, issues related to the implementation of the priority tasks set before the heads of higher education institutions and technical institutes are being discussed.
During the event, the republican marathon was started as part of the “Green Space” project.
The marathon will continue until November 20, and it is aimed to plant more than 20 million fruit and ornamental seedlings across the country.
Gapurov Mirmukhsin Kamoldinovich, director of the Fergana regional branch of Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture and Azizbek Talaboyev, dean of the “Theatre Art and Folk Art” faculty, are actively participating in the “Green Space” marathon.
